Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By installing or using Tab Destroyer (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Bluestonetech, based in Hungary (the "developer", "we", "us").
2. What the Service does
Tab Destroyer is a browser extension that turns tab cleanup into a card game. It captures live screenshots of your open tabs (processed on your device only), presents them as a deck, and lets you destroy (close), keep, or save tabs by swiping. "Destroying" a tab closes that tab in your browser. You are responsible for the tabs you choose to close; once closed, restoring a tab depends on your browser and is not guaranteed by the Service.
3. Subscriptions (Tab Destroyer Pro)
The Service offers a free tier and a paid subscription, Tab Destroyer Pro.
- Free tier: you may play one free session. Continued use beyond the free allowance requires a Pro subscription.
- Plans: Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions — weekly, monthly, and yearly options. Current prices are shown on the paywall and in the App Store at the time of purchase, and may vary by region. (Reference pricing at launch: weekly $4.99, monthly $9.99, yearly $59.99 USD.)
- Free trial: eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid term automatically.
- Billing and renewal: all purchases, trials, and renewals are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
- Managing or cancelling: manage or cancel your subscription via App Store › Account Settings › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not process refunds directly; refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to circumvent the subscription gate, reverse-engineering for the purpose of bypassing payment, interfering with the Service's operation, or using it in violation of applicable law.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, design, code, and assets, is owned by the developer. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights — only a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
6. Your data
Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: gameplay screenshots stay on your device and are never transmitted, and only anonymous, opt-out usage analytics are collected.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that closing tabs is reversible. You are responsible for backing up or saving any tabs you do not want to lose before destroying them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data (including lost tabs or browsing sessions), arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and may update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
